Tim Moore is the founder and Principal Consultant at Stratimetrix. Tim has a broad background in management consulting and IT. As a serial entrepreneur, having founded three successful businesses, Tim has personally gone through the startup, growth and divestiture phases of the business lifecycle and can provide strategic and tactical advice derived from best practices and his own experiences.
Tim has been providing consulting services since 1995, when he started his career advising the University of Northampton (UK) on its IT policies and systems. At Siemens, as the importance of the Internet was just starting to be understood, he designed and implemented network management solutions for the organizations who were enabling this new technology. In 1998, he and a colleague from Siemens co-founded Parallel, an IT Service Management solution provider, growing a team of 30 consultants and software developers to implement and manage IT services for some of the world’s largest organizations and NGO’s. Parallel was acquired by iDirect in 2009.
Having gained a decade of entrepreneurial experience, Tim joined FTI Consulting, a leading global management consulting firm, as a director. At FTI, Tim conducted a diverse array of projects, including managing the IT transition for the carving-out of Ford’s global windshield business, due diligence for the sale of a Tier-1 ISP’s network business, assessment of a telco’s IPTV strategy for their creditors, and troubleshooting the business processes of an institutional pharmacy.
Tim has been a product manager for Markit (now a division of S&P Global), where he developed a go-to-market plan for an institutional trading software product. He has founded two additional businesses including a property development and letting business in Vail, CO, and an online retail business specializing in bringing unique European home products to the US market.
